Wedge wire, also known as profile wire, wedge wire screen is often used for filtering out solids from liquids or for sifting and separating different sizes of particles. Wedge Wire is commonly made from a variety of stainless steel (AISI 304, AISI 316, 321) offering chemical and thermal resistance, it can be also made out of many different metal alloys for high temperatures and specific uses. These include 300 series, 400 series and 2205 duplex stainless steel, Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, Nitronic, Nickel alloys including Hastelloy, Inconel and Monel 4001.
Application
Main features of wedge wire screens are corrosion-resistance, precision slot opening and excellent structure strength. The continuous V slot Wedge Wire can handle a wide range of flow rates from very low up to very high pressures.
